“I’ve lived the cleaning business from the inside out. Now I help cleaner-owners build companies that actually work.”
MY STORY
Over a decade ago, I was a single mum juggling three jobs and trying to build a life that worked around my kids. Cleaning found me by accident, but it quickly became something much bigger.
I didn’t set out to become The Cleaning Guru.
I started with a small kit, a handful of clients, and a determination to do the job properly. Like many cleaners, I learned everything the hard way. Early mornings. Late-night invoicing. Figuring things out as I went.
But along the way, I saw something clearly: The cleaning industry is
full of incredibly hardworking people… and far too many of them are underpaid, overwhelmed, and unsupported. That’s what set me on
this path.
Over the years, I didn’t just clean — I built.
WHAT I’VE BUILT
I grew cleaning companies from the ground up
I trained teams and created flexible roles for other mums
I developed systems that improved consistency and client experience
And eventually, I sold a successful cleaning business
But the real turning point wasn’t the sale. It was realising how many cleaner-owners were still stuck where I once was — working hard but lacking structure, clarity, and support.
That’s why The Cleaning Guru exists.
WHATS INCLUDED
Everything I teach comes from lived experience.
No fluff.
No cookie-cutter business theory.
No strategies that only work on paper.
My approach is:
PRACTICAL
Built for real New Zealand cleaning businessess
SUPPORTIVE
You won’t be left to figure it out alone
CLEAR
Simple systems you can actually follow
HONEST
I’ll tell you what’s working and what needs to shift
Whether you’re just starting out or restructuring an established company, my role is to help you build something steady, profitable, and sustainable
I live in North Canterbury, New Zealand with my four beautiful children and two cats. When I’m not working with cleaners or refining systems, you’ll usually find me outdoors — camping, exploring, or enjoying a good book in the sun with a strong cup of tea (or a glass of wine when the moment calls for it). I love real conversations, practical solutions, and that moment when everything finally clicks for someone’s business. If you’re ready for more clarity and structure in your cleaning company — I’d be honoured to support you.
